Planoly describes itself like this: "Our social media planner empowers creators to schedule posts, manage multiple accounts, and organize your content. Make planning easy with Planoly" (homepage). That self-description is the tool's own claim about itself, not an independent assessment.
The addressee is named in the sentence itself: creators. The three tasks named are a schedule of posts, running several accounts and putting materials in order. This is what the tool says about itself.
The interface language of the homepage is en. The markup declares no other language versions.
Which platforms it works with
Planoly's list of platforms is split by kind of work, and telling those apart matters more than reading the combined list.
Automatic publishing — seven platforms. The answer to the question "What platforms does Planoly support?" on the homepage: "Planoly supports autopublishing to Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and Threads".
Reminder only — two more. In the same place: "You can also schedule reminders to publish manually to Amazon and X (formerly Twitter)". For Amazon and X there is no automatic publishing: the tool will remind you, and posting will have to be done by hand. If it is X specifically that you need, this difference is decisive.
How you earn with it
A referral programme is announced and is called Social Club — an ambassador programme; a "Referral Program" link is in the homepage footer (programme page).
The commission is laid out by tier, and the tier is determined by the number of click-throughs:
- Creator (0–10 click-throughs) — 30% on each use of the code;
- Influencer (11–40) — 40% plus a 100 USD Amazon gift card;
- Trendsetter (41+) — 50% plus a free annual plan.
The upper limit is named by the tool itself: up to 250 USD for each referred customer. That is its claim, not our calculation and not a promise of income. The referred customer, in turn, gets a discount with the code.
The accrual is recurring — for one year after the first use of the code; that is how it is worded in the answers to frequently asked questions.
The payout threshold is 20 USD of referral income; payment is made by the 7th of each month. What exactly they pay with is not stated.
Any user is admitted, admission is automatic, and joining goes through the Creator Store or Social Planner account. But participation requires activity: a participant is obliged to publish at least two mentions a month, and after three months without publications they are removed.
What it will not do
The tool will not be able to post automatically to X (Twitter) or Amazon — for those two platforms all it can do is remind you to publish by hand. This is not silence from the source but a directly described arrangement: auto-publishing is declared for seven platforms, a reminder for the two others.
Nor will the programme be able to credit you with a customer who merely clicked through your link. The lifetime of the click tag is not stated for Planoly, and not through an oversight: the accounting is arranged differently — by a personal code that the referred person enters to get the discount. No code, no accrual, however many click-throughs there were.
Staying silent in the referral programme will not work: two mentions a month are an obligation of the participant, and three months of silence lead to removal.
