Linktree
Tool · this deep dive is built from the official pages of the platform itself and of the tools that support it.
Overview
Linktree is a one-link-in-bio tool: an intermediary page that gathers the transitions to everything else. This is how it describes itself: "Join 70M+ creators and sell, share & curate everything you do online. One bio link—your Linktree—brings it all together for your audience" (homepage). That is a self-description: the estimate "70M+ creators" too is the tool's own claim about itself, not an independent measurement.
The interface language of the homepage is English, taken from the markup attribute; the markup declares no other language versions (homepage).
The site is prepared to be read by programs: there is a machine-readable index llms.txt of 7177 characters. That is our own measurement of the file as of the date of the check, not a claim by the tool; such a file says nothing about what the product can do.
Which platforms it works with
Linktree's lists sit in two different places, and they mean different things. They must not be mixed up.
Integrations: eight
The «Integrations» section names eight services, and the counter on the page itself shows the same number: TikTok, Kit, Amaze, Google Sheets, Shopify, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, beehiiv. Of platforms there is only TikTok here; the rest is commerce, email newsletters and spreadsheets.
App blocks: fifty-two
The «All Link Apps» section declares 52 entries, and the counter on the page confirms that number. The list is given as it stands on the page, with nothing filtered out: Instagram, Form, Music, Contact Details, Video, Header, Maps, Cameo, YouTube, Spotify, Affiliate products, Text, Threads, Calendly, GoFundMe, SoundCloud, Audiomack, Coaching & bookings, Reviews, Bonfire, Community Channels, TikTok Video, Bandsintown, Community SMS, FAQs, Digital products, Twitch, Laylo, Typeform, Fourthwall, Gleam, Vimeo, Discount Code, Facebook, Snapchat, Clubhouse, SendOwl, UMG Signup, Books, Reddit, Seated, Courses, Stats, Podcasts, Tour and Events, PDF display, Mobile App, Image gallery, Pinterest, Apple Music, X, RSS Feed.
The key caveat: these are embeddable blocks of the page, not the connection of accounts. Some of the names are not platforms at all but types of block — Form, Text, Header, Maps, Stats. The presence of the word "Instagram" in the list means that an Instagram block can be placed on the page, and it does not mean that Linktree publishes to Instagram for you.
How you earn with it
Linktree does not announce an affiliate programme of its own (homepage). The addresses /affiliate, /affiliates, /partners, /referral, /referralscheme were checked — all of them serve not pages of the tool but user pages of Linktree, that is, someone else's profiles under those names. An address that answers is not a sign of a programme here. The homepage footer has no links to an affiliate programme either.
Separately about Linktree Shops, to avoid confusion: that is an instrument with which a user earns from other people's affiliate programmes, not a programme of Linktree itself paying for referred customers.
What it will not do
Linktree does not promise to pay you for referred users: there is no programme either on the site or in the footer, and the addresses that "answer" with the right words turned out to be user pages.
The tool does not claim to publish posts on social networks: both the eight integrations and the 52 blocks are things that can be placed on the page or that the page can be connected to, not auto-posting.
The sources checked name no plans, no boundaries for the free tier and no limits of any kind — which is not an assertion that Linktree has no paid plans.
The markup declares no language versions beyond English — which likewise does not prove their absence.
