Lemon Squeezy
Tool · this deep dive is built from the official pages of the platform itself and of the tools that support it.
Overview
Lemon Squeezy describes itself like this: "Sell digital products and SaaS software the easy peasy way with Lemon Squeezy. As your merchant of record, we handle the tax compliance burden so you can focus on more revenue and less headache" (homepage). This is the tool's own claim about itself, not an independent assessment.
The key phrase here is "merchant of record", the seller on the record. The tool calls itself the party that takes on the tax burden of a seller of digital goods. What exactly that burden includes and in which countries does not follow from the facts we have.
For a catalogue of social network tools this is a borderline case: Lemon Squeezy deals with sales and money, not with feeds. Publishing, scheduling and social network analytics are not its occupation. It may be useful to someone who sells a digital product to their audience, not to someone who runs accounts.
The interface language of the homepage is en. The markup declares no other language versions.
A developer section is confirmed: the homepage links to the documentation, the address opens and carries the signs of documentation. From the open record it is known only that the section exists.
Which platforms it works with
There are no social platforms among the integrations. This is a verified result, not a gap in the collection.
The integrations page in the documentation names six services and divides them into two groups. Official integrations — ConvertKit, Mailchimp, Zapier. External ones — Fernand, Framer, ParityDeals. These are mailing lists, a service connector, support, a site builder and work with prices by country; not a single social network.
It is worth saying separately where this list lives: only in the documentation. On the marketing site www.lemonsqueezy.com there is no /integrations section — the address returns 404. If you were looking for a list of integrations on the main site and did not find it, that does not mean there is none at all.
How you earn with it
No affiliate programme for those who bring clients to Lemon Squeezy itself is announced. The addresses /affiliate, /affiliate-program, /partners and /referral return 404.
It is easy to make a mistake here, and the mistake is worth naming outright. The page Affiliates exists and opens, but it describes a built-in tool for sellers: the ability to set up an affiliate programme of your own inside the platform and pay your own partners for sales of your own goods. This is not a programme under which Lemon Squeezy pays you for a referred client. The difference is a fundamental one: in the first case you pay, in the second you are paid.
The terms, the rates and the thresholds of the built-in tool are not published — only its existence is in the open.
What it will not do
Lemon Squeezy does not undertake to work with social networks: they are not in the list of integrations, and the list itself is short and has been read in full — six services, not a single social network.
It does not promise to pay you for a referred client either: a programme of that kind is not announced, and the page with a similar name is about something else.
The open pages name no commissions, plans or currencies; the tool declares no language versions other than English; about the programming interface the open record is only that documentation exists.
