Activepieces
Tool · this deep dive is built from the official pages of the platform itself and of the tools that support it.
Overview
Activepieces is an automation tool that links other people's applications to one another. The self-description word for word: "Activepieces is the best way to build a self-driven AI culture across HR, finance, marketing, sales and more — under the supervision of your IT ninjas" (homepage). This is the tool's own claim about itself, not an independent assessment.
From the description it is clear who the tool is meant for: personnel, finance, marketing and sales are listed, and supervision is handed to the IT department. Social networks are not named in the self-description even once — they appear only in the catalogue of connectors, and there their share is small.
The tool's catalogue is open and can be read: on the showcase at https://www.activepieces.com/pieces it says "Showing 756 pieces", and the same number of records is returned by the tool's open catalogue. The numbers agree — a rare case where the showcase and the machine-readable list can be checked against each other.
The interface language of the homepage is en, taken from the markup attribute; no language versions are declared in hreflang.
Which platforms it works with
Of the 756 connectors, seventeen correspond to social networks and messengers (catalogue):
Bluesky, Discord, Facebook Leads, Facebook Pages, Instagram for Business, Line Bot, LinkedIn, Mastodon, Matrix, Pinterest, Reddit, Slack, Telegram Bot, Twitch, Twitter, WhatsApp Business, YouTube.
The remaining 739 connectors are not platforms — these are business systems, spreadsheets, mail and the rest, having no bearing on running social networks.
The names of the connectors are worth reading literally, they say something in themselves. Facebook is split into two: Facebook Leads and Facebook Pages — these are different things, leads and pages. Instagram is named as "for Business". Telegram and Line are represented by "Bot" versions, WhatsApp by the "Business" version. The presence of a connector confirms the presence of a connector, and no more.
How you earn with it
An affiliate programme is not announced, and this has been checked thoroughly: the addresses /affiliate, /affiliates, /partners, /referral return 404, in the sitemap with 2252 addresses there are no pages about an affiliate programme, and in the footer of the homepage there are no such links either.
This is the case where "not announced" is said after an inspection of the whole sitemap, and not after three addresses typed at random. A programme could exist non-publicly, but public terms the tool does not have.
What it will not do
Paying for a referred client is not something it offers: there are no public terms at any of the checked addresses and in any line of the sitemap.
Being an instrument for social networks it does not promise itself either. In its own description personnel, finance, marketing and sales are named; platforms turned up only in the catalogue, where there are seventeen of them out of 756. Scheduling posts, a publication calendar, reports by account — none of this does the tool declare.
