Upfluence

Tool · this deep dive is built from the official pages of the platform itself and of the tools that support it.

Overview

Upfluence is an influencer and affiliate marketing platform. The self-description on the home page: "Upfluence is the influencer and affiliate marketing platform for ecommerce and DTC brands, powered by Jaice AI. Find, manage, and pay creators in one place". This is the tool's own claim about itself, not an independent assessment.

The addressee is named directly — online shops and brands selling straight to the buyer. The tool's work is described with three verbs: find authors, run work with them and pay them. That is, the user of Upfluence is not an author but the party that hires authors.

The interface language of the home page is en-US. A machine-readable index llms.txt is present on the site; the size of the file on the date of the check was 10,111 characters — that is our own measurement, not a claim by the tool.

Which platforms it works with

There are two lists, they come from different pages and they do not coincide with each other.

The search for authors covers six platforms. The answer in the questions block on the search page: "Upfluence indexes creators across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Pinterest, and X/Twitter in one place".

The Chrome extension, judging by its page, works with a different set: "compatible with profiles on all major networks: such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Blogs". There is no Twitch and no X/Twitter here, but blogs appear. And the list is open-ended — the phrase "such as" means these are examples, not a complete list.

Four platforms coincide in both lists: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest. Twitch and X/Twitter are declared only for the search over the database, blogs only for the extension. Both records are confirmed, and the source does not explain the contradiction.

How you earn with it

Upfluence has two roles, and they are worth distinguishing. The first is authors' earnings inside the platform itself: the tool names paying authors among its tasks, but the open pages do not name the terms of that payment. The second is the tool's own affiliate programme, and about that a good deal is known.

The programme is called the Upfluence Affiliate Program; tracking and payouts go through the Reditus platform (programme page). A /partner-program page exists separately; the addresses /affiliate, /affiliates, /partners and /referral return 404.

The commission is twofold, and this is a rare case in the catalogue: they pay both for a meeting you bring in and for a signed contract. "$100 per qualified demo" with no limit on the number of demos, and "10% commission on any signed 12-month contract".

With the repeatability of payouts clarity is incomplete: the 10% is tied to a signed twelve-month contract, and what happens on renewal and in subsequent years the page does not describe. There are no grounds for counting this percentage as lifelong, but the source gives no direct prohibition either.

The attribution window is 60 days ("The attribution window is 60 days"). Payouts are quarterly, through Reditus; specific payment systems are not named. The minimum sum for payout is not named either.

The circle of participants is described broadly: agencies, consultants, specialists in influencer and affiliate marketing, partners from SaaS and B2B, authors of training materials, owners of newsletters and communities. An application is submitted through Reditus. Two prohibitions are named directly: paid advertising and bidding on brand queries. There is no separate document with the programme's terms on the page.

What it will not do

The confirmed refusals concern both coverage and money.

The Chrome extension does not work with Twitch and X/Twitter — those platforms are declared only for the search over the author database. The converse is also true: blogs are named only for the extension, and they are not in the search list.

In the affiliate programme they will not pay for traffic from paid advertising or for bidding on brand queries: both prohibitions are named directly. Nor will there be money sooner than a quarter away — payouts are quarterly. Promoting the programme through short addresses like /affiliate or /referral will not work: they return 404.

Upfluence does not write about prices, the composition of plans, a free plan or a trial period; the terms of paying authors inside the platform are not described, although the tool names that as one of its three tasks; there is no minimum sum for payout, no specific methods of withdrawing money, and no word on what happens to the 10% when a contract is renewed for a second year.
