International SMM

SnackVideo

Platform · this deep dive is built from the official pages of the platform itself and of the tools that support it.

Overview

SnackVideo is a short vertical video app with live streams, games and a system of reward coins. The site footer names the rights holder as Joyo, 2012–2026; on Google Play the developer is given as Joyo Technology Pte. Ltd., while the help centre asks for advertising enquiries to be sent to an address in the kuaishou.com domain and refers to kwai.com/business — in other words, what you have in front of you is the international storefront of the Chinese Kwai ecosystem.

What sets it apart from other short-video platforms is not the formats but the way rewards are built. Besides an advertising programme for creators, there is a layer of "coins" for everyday actions: opening the app, watching, steps, invitations, mini-games. For instance, the platform describes a task where 100 points are credited for each active day with a sign-in, and the system adds up the total over the last 30 days and assigns a level with a multiplier — and the levels and multipliers, by its own account, are assigned at random. And one more thing: live streams, families and the partner programme are not open to everyone.

Who's here

SnackVideo publishes no audience data of its own, either on the site or in the help centre. The only measurement we were able to open belongs to the store: Google Play reports more than 500 million downloads of the Android app, with 8.51 million reviews and a rating of 4.2. That is Google's data, not the platform's, and covers Android only.

Two signs point indirectly to the geography. The first is languages: the switcher on the site offers Arabic, English, Spanish, Indonesian, Portuguese (Brazil) and Chinese. The second is currency: the platform asks advertisers to fill in its form stating a monthly budget in Indonesian rupiah. The platform's machine-readable index names the target audience of the editorial section outright: readers in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. There is no Russian among the site's versions.

Getting started

Registration happens in the app; to withdraw money you will need to link a phone number, and a number already linked to another account will not do.

Verification goes two ways: through Creator Center — Creator Verification, with a check of around 24 hours, and if there is no such item in the app, by writing to support; in the second case you need more than 1 million followers on SnackVideo, TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, or more than 2 million on Likee. The badge here is a sign of an established creator, not a starting setting.

Live streams. The broadcast button does not appear straight away: you need 500 or more followers, to be of age, and the latest version of the app; after that the platform's team reviews the account, and you can only stream once approved.

Families are groupings of creators. An application is submitted with a button on the profile page, but the platform warns that the families section in Creator Center is in internal testing and open only to some users.

What you can publish

There is one format — short vertical video. Music is added with a button on the editing page before publication; there are duets and a privacy setting for an individual clip.

Numerical file requirements — maximum duration, size, resolution, permitted codecs — appear nowhere in the help centre. No such information appears in the full list of its articles.

The platform lists what is forbidden briefly. A clip will be hidden or blocked if it contains pornography, violence, dangerous weapons or any other breach of the community rules; behaviour that violates the law on the protection of minors or could harm them; false advertising, plagiarism or the theft of other people's videos. The appeal procedure is described separately: you open the problem clip in your profile, look at the details of the violation and file an appeal, and if you disagree with the outcome, send the account identifier and the link to the video to support.

How to grow

The platform does not disclose the mechanics of its algorithm — it gives recommendations instead. A general statement: all posts have an equal chance of reaching the trending page. Then come the tips: shoot with the app's built-in camera, watch the picture quality and lighting, take part in Creator Center events for "traffic support", use hashtags, mention the official account, reply to comments, increase your posting frequency and stick to a single topic. The same page carries the platform's only specific statement about its own ranking: videos shot with its camera are "easier for more people to see". The Creator Academy training section lives there too, and Creator Center tasks work separately: by completing them a creator receives rewards, and the requirements and the size of the reward are visible when you tap a task.

The help centre describes no built-in statistics with figures — views, retention, geography.

Path to monetization

The main route is the Partner Program: this is a programme where users earn from advertising randomly inserted into the videos they create; daily earnings are visible in Creator Center — Partner Program — Dashboard or in the creator's wallet, and you can leave with a button on the programme's page. The entry conditions are given as figures: a creator level above 6, quality content, more than 8 posts in the last 30 days and an average view figure above 5000. The same page notes that the programme opens gradually and only to "quality creators" — that is, meeting the conditions does not guarantee participation.

The second source is streams with gifts and the coin-based task system. The third is direct advertising sales: the platform collects advertisers through a form asking for the company name, the commercial licence number, the website, the size, the industry, the expectations and the monthly budget, while a separate "Collab with creators" link leads to work with creators from the front page.

Withdrawing money. The route is described step by step — Settings → Wallet → Cash, with the sum required to reach a certain threshold, and the minimum and maximum limits depending on the payout channel. On commission it says outright: it is withheld by the payout channel, not the platform, and its size depends on the channel and the sum, with the exact value shown on screen. No specific threshold sums are published anywhere.

Tools and automation

SnackVideo has no open programming interface for publishing — at any rate, none is described in any of the 102 help articles listed in the platform's machine-readable index. Nor did we find any third-party schedulers with confirmed support for SnackVideo.

For machines the platform does have the index itself: the llms.txt file names the canonical addresses, the help centre's structure of 18 categories and 102 articles, the English paths without a prefix and the Indonesian ones with the /id/ prefix, plus the update date — 15 June 2026. That is the mark of a site prepared to be read by programs, but not a substitute for a publishing interface: the creator's working tools — Creator Center with its tasks, Creator Academy, the wallet and the Partner Program dashboard — live on the phone.

Limits and rules

Who it's for

It suits you if your audience is in Indonesia, Southeast Asia, the Arab East or Latin America: the interface languages and budgets in rupiah show where the platform actually works.

It suits short-video creators ready for a system of internal tasks: the entry threshold for monetization — more than 8 posts in 30 days and average views above 5000 — is noticeably lower than on the big Western platforms.

It does not suit you if you need predictability: almost everything here opens up "gradually" and at the platform's discretion — both the partner programme and families. It does not suit you if you work through scheduling services: publishing is only possible from the app. And it does not suit you if it matters to know withdrawal thresholds and commissions in advance — the platform does not publish them.
