Overview
GoodGame is a Russian live streaming platform with chat, a tournament section and a forum. It describes itself in one line: "Game and IRL streams, tournaments in popular games, gaming and esports news". The site and the mobile apps are operated by Midian LLC (user agreement).
What sets GoodGame apart from most streaming services is that nearly the whole earnings mechanism is documented in the public help centre — with exact revenue shares, fees and payout deadlines. These figures are normally hidden behind a login to the creator dashboard. The second distinctive feature is the status model: not every channel may sell paid subscriptions, only one that has been granted one of two statuses, and the creator's share depends on that status. The third is built-in restreaming to other platforms: exclusivity is not required here.
Who's here
The platform does not disclose audience figures. The public pages we checked give neither the size of the audience, nor a breakdown by country, nor a list of interface languages.
One indirect reference point is the creator rating formula: the platform calculates it as the average viewer count multiplied by the length of the stream in the player, updates it once a day, samples viewers every half hour and uses data from the last 30 days. An internal metric exists and is described publicly, but no aggregate platform figures are available in the open.
The interface is Russian, the agreement is written under Russian law, and the operator's address for written requests is Belgorod (agreement). It is reasonable to infer a Russian-speaking audience from this, but the platform provides no measurement to confirm it.
Getting started
Registration is ordinary, but with one irreversible detail: your login also becomes the channel name and the link to it, and cannot be changed after registration.
Next you create a channel and configure broadcasting. The platform recommends OBS Studio and publishes the settings: server rtmp://msk.goodgame.ru:1940/live, stream key from the channel's "Settings" tab, CBR rate control, keyframe interval 2, main profile, 16:9 aspect ratio. A ready-made settings profile for importing into OBS is available on the same page.
There is no business account with document checks at sign-up. Verification appears only around money: for your first withdrawal you have to link a phone number, after which requests are confirmed by SMS code.
What you can publish
The platform states that it does not restrict subject matter — games, creative work, casual talk streams. Limits are set as a list of exceptions, and for a Russian platform it is a strict one.
Banned, among other things: any political content; films, series and animation produced in Russia; rebroadcasting sports without the rights holder's permission; gambling — slots, casinos, machines (poker is allowed); rebroadcasting TV channels and other people's streams; explicit content; harassment; incitement to violence; fraud; discrimination on the listed grounds (full list). The penalty is a permanent ban, with the option of a verbal warning and an individual appeal.
Technical limits: bitrate up to 6000 kbps, higher only for premium channels with transcoded quality options. Channel emotes: static — PNG exactly 36 px tall and 10 to 72 px wide; animated — GIF of the same size.
Chat rules are set out separately: insults, ban evasion and duplicate accounts are prohibited, as is flooding — no more than three messages in a row — and unrelated links. The site rules open with a short list: discussing politics, insulting others, swearing, promoting an unhealthy lifestyle and outright advertising are prohibited.
How to grow
There is no algorithmic feed that the platform says anything about. Instead there are direct mechanics.
The rating doubles as the entry point to premium status: reaching the top 100 lets you apply.
Teleports (raids). The command /teleport StreamerNick or /raid moves your viewers to another channel: the transfer happens after 10 seconds and cannot be declined or cancelled. The audio alert does not fire if three or fewer viewers were teleported.
Paid placement on the home page. The "Spotlight" block is for sale, but a stream that breaks the rules is removed regardless of payment (description).
Multistreaming. The platform restreams your feed to other services itself — Twitch, Trovo, VK Play Live, YouTube and others; the restream runs from GoodGame's servers, the number of streams is not capped but no more than two is recommended, and the start may be delayed by up to two minutes. The feature is marked as beta and is free while it is being developed.
The help centre does not describe a separate analytics dashboard; the channel page has an earnings block that refreshes every two minutes.
Path to monetization
Two statuses and two shares
Light Premium is granted automatically once the conditions in the achievements section are met and gives you 50% of subscription revenue. Premium gives you 75% of subscription revenue but is granted manually: you have to reach the top 100 of the rating and write to support, subject to available technical capacity. The platform states plainly that premium cannot be bought and that the status is revoked if your rating falls — the channel drops back to Light Premium.
Subscription price and creator income
From 17 August 2026 prices are the same for all channels: 1 month — 149 ₽, 3 months — 399 ₽, 6 months — 759 ₽, 12 months — 1,429 ₽. Before that, creators picked one of several prices — 79, 149 or 299 ₽ per month; the setting is being removed, and the platform explains why: three streamers used it over six months.
The shares are unchanged, and the platform states the amounts outright: a premium channel receives 111.75 ₽ from a monthly subscription, 299.25 ₽ from a three-month one, 569.25 ₽ from a six-month one and 1,071.75 ₽ from an annual one; Light Premium — 74.50 ₽, 199.50 ₽, 379.50 ₽ and 714.50 ₽.
Donations, fees, payouts
A donation arrives net of a combined fee — the site's plus the payment provider's: Russian card — 16%, SBP — 11.3%, GG wallet — 1%, YooMoney — 10%, cryptocurrencies — 10%; withdrawal fee — 0%. For a foreign card the fee is not specified in the help centre. The viewer can choose to cover the fee.
A voice message with a donation is enabled in the channel settings with a threshold, 300 rubles by default. There is a "task log": a viewer proposes a challenge and sets a reward, with the minimum amount set by the creator (description).
Withdrawal thresholds depend on frequency: monthly payout — from 1,000 ₽, weekly — from 3,500 ₽. Requests for the monthly payout are accepted between the 1st and the 7th, the payout runs between the 1st and the 10th, and a card transfer takes up to three business days. Weekly earnings below the threshold roll over into the monthly payout.
A third source is a share of video advertising: the pre-roll at the start of a stream is usually no longer than 15 seconds and can be closed after 5–10 seconds. Subscribers do not see ads.
Tools and automation
There is an official API: documentation for the site and chat API sits in a public GitHub repository. The repository is GoodGame/API, "Public API for Goodgame.ru services", with Chat and Streams sections; the last entry is dated 8 December 2025 (repository data). The platform suggests asking integration questions in a private chat on its Discord, available on request.
The player is embedded via an iframe, there is a share button for VKontakte, and the #autoplay parameter turns on autoplay (instructions).
On the administration side: an unlimited number of chat moderators, polls, random viewer selection for giveaways, a welcome message via the /motd command (chat features); an "emotes only" mode via the /smileonly and /smileonlyoff commands, for now only in the web version (description). Donation text-to-speech is built in and free, and the platform names the service it uses — Yandex SpeechKit Cloud (description).
Limits and rules
The legal framework is Russian. The agreement is concluded with Midian LLC, and matters not covered by it are resolved under the law of the Russian Federation, while account deletion is handled through a written request to the operator's postal address or an electronic document with an electronic signature. The same document states that by accepting the agreement the user consents to marketing mailings, and opting out requires the same kind of written request.
Three restrictions matter in practice: the login and the channel address can never be changed; premium cannot be bought and can be taken away; political content and Russian cinema are explicitly banned (rules).
The robots.txt file blocks service sections — login, chat, achievements — and a large number of URL parameters; the stream directory and the help centre are open.
Who it's for
A good fit for Russian-speaking creators of gaming and talk streams who value predictability: shares, fees and payout deadlines are published down to the kopeck. A good fit for those who stream on several platforms — built-in restreaming takes the load off the home computer. A good fit for those who need a low entry threshold for payouts.
A poor fit for creators of political and social content — that is an outright ban. A poor fit for anyone counting on an international audience: the interface, the rules and the payments are all built around Russia. And a poor fit for those to whom the revenue share at the start is critical: until you get a status you cannot sell subscriptions at all, and Light Premium leaves the creator with half.

The agreement sets no direct lower age, but it does acknowledge users under 18 and obliges them to take a separate action: clause 3.5 — «Если Пользователю нет 18 лет, он обязан в своей учетной записи поставить галочку напротив графы „Скрывать стримы с отметкой 18+“» (our translation: if the user is under 18, they must tick the box «Hide 18+ streams» in their account). Recorded as partial: it follows from the clause that minors do register, but the agreement names no lower age boundary at all. We do not draw the conclusion «so there is no age».

How the money works here
Who is admitted. The threshold is named as a place in the ranking rather than a subscriber count: the help page about premium status states — «Премиум-статус может быть выдан после попадания в топ 100 рейтинга стримеров» (our translation: premium status may be granted after entering the top 100 of the streamer ranking)
The phrasing «may be granted» is the platform's, not ours: entering the top 100 is named as a condition but not as a guarantee. By what was recorded earlier in the database, the availability of free technical capacity and an application to support are added to this. The full text of the article cannot be read by machine; this sentence is taken from the page description the server delivers.

Referral links are forbidden outright. The "Rules of conduct on the site", point 3.3.13: users are forbidden "to place referral links, links of an advertising nature, and also links to resources on similar subjects without the permission of the administration". Commercial content is restricted. The short part of the site rules: "On our site it is forbidden: … to engage in outright advertising". The rules for broadcasts: point 16 — "Spam is unwanted or repetitive content placed for the purpose of enrichment or gain.
