getimg.ai

Tool · this deep dive is built from the official pages of the platform itself and of the tools that support it.

Overview

getimg.ai is a platform for generating and editing visuals. Declared are generation of an image from text and from an image (text-to-image and image-to-image), an image editor, upscaling of images and of video, smart resizing, background removal and replacement, and also generation of video, of music and of speech. The list is taken not from a marketing block on the homepage but from the section "Compare features and model access across all plans" on the pricing page — that is, from the table in which the tool itself matches capabilities to plans.

About the language of the prompt there is no answer. Neither the pricing page, nor the terms of service, nor the restrictions page, nor the privacy policy stipulates the language of the text entered. The pages themselves and the interface are in English, but that is the language of the site, not a declared language of the prompt. A separate page about language support was not found: the /guides section is closed in robots.txt. So about Russian, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese the tool promises nothing and forbids nothing — the documents were read, and the answer is not in them.

Which platforms it works with

Two points of entry: the web service and an API with its own developer console. About the API the tool warns separately in the FAQ of the pricing page: "the API credits are not included in the subscription plans" — API credits are not part of the subscription and are bought separately.

Direct publishing to social networks is not declared on the pages read. The finished image or video you take out of the tool and post yourself.

Pricing

The prices are from the pricing page, the currency is euros. Each tier carries two sums: monthly, and monthly under annual payment.

Entry — 10 EUR a month, 8 EUR a month under annual payment (96 EUR a year). Core — 30 EUR a month per seat, 25 EUR under annual (300 EUR a year). Plus — 65 EUR a month per seat, 55 EUR under annual (660 EUR a year). Ultra — 175 EUR a month per seat, 150 EUR under annual (1800 EUR a year). About annual payment the tool writes "incl. tax".

The minimum is 8 EUR a month under annual payment of the Entry plan; under monthly payment the lowest tier costs 10 EUR a month. From Core upwards the price is stated per seat, so a team multiplies the sum by the number of people.

What is free

The tool has no free plan. On the pricing page the lowest tier is the paid Entry, and no zero column stands beside it. The page was read in full, including the FAQ block under the comparison table.

In that same FAQ stands a related reservation: commercial use is available only on the paid plans. More on that in the section on rights below.

Restrictions

The unit of consumption is credits per month: Entry 3000, Core 15000, Plus 35000, Ultra 100000. From Core upwards these are credits per seat.

The upscaling ceiling is spread across the tiers: 4K, 8K, 16K and 16K again — for Plus and Ultra the ceiling is the same. Simultaneous generations are 2, 4, 8 and 10 respectively.

The main reservation is written out word for word: "Plan credits do not roll over to the next month" — unspent plan credits do not carry into the following month. API credits are counted separately and are not part of the subscription.

Rights to the output

The rights are divided by plan, and divided directly. The FAQ of the pricing page: "Can I use created images for commercial projects? Yes, but only with our paid plans. Images generated under these plans can be used commercially, adhering to the CreativeML Open RAIL-M license".

Two things follow. First: commercial use is tied to a paid subscription, and the tool has no free plan. Second: the permission is granted not unconditionally but under the CreativeML Open RAIL-M licence, whose restrictions operate over the top.

The licence is named on the pricing page specifically; in the text of the terms it is not repeated. About what is uploaded the terms say separately: "All materials uploaded remain yours".

Do they train on your data

There is no answer. The terms of service and the privacy policy were read in full, and a clause on whether models are trained on uploaded images and entered prompts is not in them — neither an affirmative one nor a negative one.

A way to opt out is likewise not described on the pages read: since training is not declared, no opt-out procedure is set out either. The absence of a clause is not a permission and not a prohibition — it is a gap in the document.

How you earn with it

Commercial use of what is created is permitted, but with two attachments. The first is the plan: "only with our paid plans". The second is the CreativeML Open RAIL-M licence, under which the permission is granted; its conditions the tool does not restate, it refers to the licence by name.

What you upload stays yours — "All materials uploaded remain yours".

What it will not do

It will not let you try for free: there is no free plan on the pricing page.

It will not take on what is forbidden. The restrictions page names: planning of and threats of violent crimes, material on violence against children, deepfakes and misleading content, doxxing, knowing falsehood to the harm of others, discrimination on protected grounds. About explicit material it says word for word: "Close-up images focusing on intimate parts of the human body intended to elicit a sexual response are not allowed".

It will not allow a model to be trained on photographs of a real person without that person's permission: that is a separate rule on the same page.

It will not carry unspent credits into the next month, and it will not give API credits along with the subscription.

It will not say which language to write the prompt in: the language of the prompt is not stipulated on any of the pages read.

It will not answer whether models are trained on your uploads, and will not describe an opt-out.

It will not mark what is created: about a visible watermark, metadata or C2PA nothing is said on the pages read.
